Who would have thought a friend's wedding in 2018 was going to lead to our very own!

As many of you know we met through our mutual friend, but what you might not know is that Audun was given Bonnie's number while he was drunk celebrating that wedding! From that first text message, we started sharing and really getting to know each another online. We finally met up in Sweden 3 months later, and from there our relationship has taken off.

Over the past 5 years we have learned to understand each other's quirks. We have learned when our personalities collide and when they work to our advantage. We have had our fair share of struggles and ups and downs, but we've kept communicating and haven't shied away from the difficult conversations – and so, here we are.

As we approach March 23rd, 2024, we are both grateful for the effort, commitment, and thoughtful gestures we have put into the relationship. As we continue hand in hand, we believe our understanding, respect, and love for each other will only grow and make us stronger.

We can’t wait for our special day to arrive and hope you will all be able to help fill it with laughter and happiness!

THE WEDDING

Venue & dress code

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception is held at an outdoor terrace, while our dinner reception is held at an indoor ballroom.

The dress code will be smart casual. Please dress neatly, without being overly dressy – or overly casual. For men, dark denim, chinos or suit pants with a neat shirt is appropriate while women can wear a dress, skirt or smart trousers. We don’t have a wedding or colour theme, but please refrain from wearing white or red.

Food & drink

Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions and we will try our best to accommodate you, and make sure you have a wonderful time!

There will be free flow wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Gift registry

In lieu of gifts, we would greatly appreciate a contribution to our wedding festivities. We appreciate the thoughts and love and having you there celebrating with us is what matters most. There will be someone sitting by the entrance to collect any contributions.

Speeches and other contributions

If you want to make a speech, or have any other contribution for the wedding party, please send Bonnie an email and she'll see where we can fit you in.

For our overseas guests, some possible hotel choices close to both the wedding venue and city centre are

All of these combine a very central location with an affordable pricing.

Travel

There are no direct flights from Norway to Hong Kong, but airlines such as Finnair, Cathay Pacific, Air France, British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, and Swiss Air have only one stop in Europe en route to Hong Kong.

From Canada, the main choices are Air Canada and Cathay Pacific.

If you want to use a search motor to find a flight, Bonnie likes using Skyscanner.

Other

There will be a Jockey Club shuttle bus bringing guests to Admiralty MTR station at 11pm for guests that live far away.
